Sunday seems like a good day to talk to the Lord. Please interveve for me today as you take your daily devotion or alone time with our God. Sing louder, Pray more sincerely, Love more deeply, Cherish family, Pay ahead without regret. And if you don't know what Pay ahead means - rent the movie. Great afternoon snuggle fest.

I've tried calling several times and no-one's home so I thought I'd check your blog. Hadn't checked it for quite a while. Now I know why things are busy at your place! It's good to know that you want visitors...and know when you're done visiting! I think of you every time we go through Girard on our way to Pittsburg. We even stop at the filling station. One time I stopped to ask about you and they said you guys had sold the store.
My prayers and love are being sent your way. You are a blessing to those who know you...and even those who don't know you through your imprint on those who do! (particularly nursing students/graduates and their patients).
I understand completely how nice it is to have connections in the hospital. We went through that with my mom and were comforted many times over.
Take care and next time we're that way I will make sure to call and arrange a visit.

Ellen, I don't think I've commented before but I wanted to let you know that you have been and continue to be an inspiration for me.
You may have heard that I have been diagnosed with meduallary thyroid cancer. At this point we are hopeful that a single surgery will take care of it. Your example affects my outlook on life and on this illness. I hope and pray that God will get you clear of this. When I pray for myself I will also pray for you.
